She has dedicated the majority of the last twenty years to saving our snow and planet from the devastating effects of global warming. She graduated Magna Cum Laude with Honors from the University of Vermont in 1987, and Solar Energy International in 1991. She founded her first business to battle climate change in 1991, and also worked diligently to walk the walk and talk the talk by designing and building her low-energy straw bale solar home in 1997. She is the founding president of two global cooling non-profits – The Office for Resource Efficiency and the The Save Our Snow Foundation - http://www.saveoursnowfoundation.org, and is a board member of The Equilibrium Fund, whe she works to certify and sell carbon credits for communities in Central America, while also seeking economic security, food security, and leadership training for women throught the Maya Nut rainforest tree programs. She has led expeditions to document global warming in many countries around the world - including Bolivia, Argentina, South Africa, Canada, Bhutan, India, the United States, and Pakistan.
