Warranty Information

Osprey PacksIf you live in the United States and have a warranty issue or need a repair done on one of our packs, you will first need to obtain a return authorization number. To do so, call our warranty department toll free at 866-314-3130 or click here. The Returns Department will provide shipping instructions along with your RA Number. PLEASE, do not send your pack in with out an RA Number.

*If you live outside the United States, please call 970.564.5900 to locate the overseas Osprey Distributor closest to you.

How long will it take?

Our turn around time is approximately two to three weeks from the day you mail your pack until you get it back. During peak season (April through September), add an additional week. If you have a specific date you need your pack back, please let us know when requesting your RA#. We will do our best to meet your deadline.

What if my pack is really dirty?

Dirty, stinky packs are no fun to work on. The Warranty Department reserves the right to determine if a pack is too dirty to work on. When we receive a pack that is too dirty to repair, we will charge $10 to clean the pack. Here’s how to easily clean your pack at home.

1) If your pack has a removable harness and hipbelt remove them from the pack body.

2) Clean your pack and components in a bathtub or large sink using a mild detergent and warm water. Osprey highly recommends Nikwax Tech Wash.

Be sure to follow the directions on the bottle carefully.

3) Agitate the pack gently and then rinse thoroughly.

4) Hang dry outdoors or in a well ventilated area out of direct sunlight.

5) Once your pack is FULLY dry, box it up carefully and send it in with your RA# (see above.)

(Do not immerse travel packs with our High Road™ Wheeled Chassis. Instead wipe the exterior of the chassis and scrub stains on the pack fabric using a bucket of warm water and mild detergent.)

For more on pack care see your owner’s manual or click here.
