Description

When all you need on your trail run is water and an extra layer, the Rev 1.5 is the right tool for the job. Designed for ultimate all-day comfort, the suspension system is based around Osprey’s innovative BioStretch™ bodywrap harness system. Dual chest straps maintain load stability and the breathable mesh backpanel provides ventilation and a soft, irritation-free contact surface.

Access the main compartment via a zippered panel. Inside, a slash pocket secures valuables. Outside, a front panel bungee provides compression and a place for a bulky layer.

Inside the pack’s separate hydration sleeve, you’ll find a 1.5 liter Hydraulics™ LT reservoir with magnetic bite valve for sipping on the go. Built-in baffles in the reservoir reduce barreling and sloshing to minimize the chances of chafing over the course of a long day on the trail. And should that long day turn into a long night, the graphics are reflective to enhance your nighttime visibility.

A weatherproof DigiFlip™ media pocket drops down from the shoulder harness for quick access to your device. It is removable when you want to disconnect and fully engage with nature and the sound of your breath.

Comments about Osprey REV 1.5:

This bag is great, fits a ton of items if needed. Lots of water storage, love the magnet for the hose. The straps are comfortable, however, I am 5'1", smaller build and it is too big. In summer clothes, you cannot pull the straps tight enough to really run on trails and not have a lot of bouncing. I think in winter it will be a good fit w/ more jackets/layers on. S/M size is really for mediums. That's the bummer for a pricey bag.

      Comments about Osprey REV 1.5:

"Digi Flip" phone pocket is too small for my iPhone6, I removed it. Filling water bladder is too complicated. Suspension and comfort are fabulous. I was just wanting an alternative to my two water bottles and this will work.

              Comments about Osprey REV 1.5:

I use this light pack for trail runs. I usually run between 10 to 20 miles. The pack stays tight to body. The water in the pack sloshes some, but it is liquid and there's only so much that can be done. The digi pocket is on the small side. My phone barely fits. I've removed the digi pocket since I don't look at my phone when I run, I wear a watch. It could fit a small gps device, but I'd make sure it does before buying. I'd love to see options for the digi pocket like another water bottle for longer runs or for a sports drink instead of water.
