Description

The old adage is true: If baby isn’t happy, neither are you. But the reverse also holds true—especially when you’re carrying junior and everything else for a day outside. So when you’re off for an outdoor adventure and don’t want to leave anything behind, reach for Osprey’s Poco AG™ Premium child carrier.

Osprey incorporated their award winning AG™ (Anti-Gravity) backpack suspension system in the Poco Series. Lightweight aluminum stays provide load stability and the mesh shoulder harness and backpanel combination keeps you comfortable for the long haul.

Child safety and comfort is a top concern. The child cockpit is fully framed and padded and the butterfly harness is fleece-covered. When you set the pack down, the base is extra wide and has a locking foot bar for stability. Two large, reinforced grab handles ensure secure pickups. The child seat has built-in safety leg loops.

Adult comfort is also a concern. The Fit-on-the-Fly™ hipbelt means both parents can enjoy proper fit during the same walk. Parents can also share the weight with a removable daypack.

Other features include an integrated sunshade to protect sensitive skin, a myriad of storage pockets, and a removable, washable drool pad.
Max Load - 48.5 pounds.

Comments about Osprey POCO AG™ PREMIUM:

If I had a dollar for every time someone wanted to know more about this pack or if I could carry them I wouldn't need a job anymore. My wife and I purchased our first Poco four years ago for our daughter and another 2 years ago for my son. These packs have seen countless miles of trails in CO and UT. In addition they are absolutely brilliant at the Zoo (the kids can see over the adults). Like other Osprey packs we own they have stood the test of time.

We love being outside exploring. When we had kids we were concerned that we may have to sacrifice some of that time. Not with the Poco packs. Our kids are comfortable and excited to get into them. They will even climb into them when I'm packing the car. The built-in shade is amazing. Especially during exposed hikes in the desert.

Now that our kids are starting to hike more on their own it is still nice to use these packs for when they get tired. The carrying capacity (especially on the premium) makes it great as a day pack.

I would highly recommend this series of packs to anyone with kids that loves being outside!

Comments about Osprey POCO AG™ PREMIUM:

We bought this to be able to bring our 8 month old along on hikes and backpacking trips. It is a great pack but the hip belt is stiff and digs in the hips. I bought 2015 and 2016 models and i do like 2015 hip belt better. came on site to see if next years model was available to see if the hip belt changed.

Comments about Osprey POCO AG™ PREMIUM:

I loved the previous model (2015) but this new model is really frustrating! The belt DIGS INTO YOUR HIPS and is so uncomfortable when hiking. I don't know who suggested it or why it was suggested to change the design of the belt. The previous design was so comfortable and is why I loved the 2015 model. The 2016 design is great other than the stiff hip belt. PLEASE go back to the 2015 belt. For this reason I am returning the 2016 model. :(

We didn't get to try the carrier before purchasing and were relying on the descriptions to be accurate in order to make our choice.

The carrier delivered on everything that Osprey advertised and more. We couldn't be happier.

Comments about Osprey POCO AG™ PREMIUM:

This is the pack I reach for when I take my kids on day hikes. I can carry my 18 lb 16 mo old with ease, and I can also quickly adjust to my 38 lb 4 yr old if I need to! I have owned several other baby packs, and hated every one. This carries all the weight on my hips, taking the stress off my shoulders. I love how it hugs me!
