Earlier this month, the 54th bi-annual Outdoor Adventure Expo hosted by Midwest Mountaineering, kicked off in Minneapolis, Minn. Osprey Packs has been a proud sponsor of this event in the past and again this spring.
Brian Block and myself from Ames Adventure Outfitters joined Osprey’s Katie Koppenhafer to answer questions, introduce Osprey’s new spring packs and fit people for upcoming trips for everything from hiking the Superior hiking trail to thru hiking the Appalachian Trail this summer. The lightweight Exos and the Aether and Ariel series were the most popular for summer trips at the event.
Osprey also made sure to give back to the local community by hosting a a cool dart game fundraiser for Minnesota Parks and Trails Association. In addition to raising money for a good cause, Osprey awarded a few lucky winners with prizes including trucker’s hats, stainless steel water bottles and for the luckiest of all, an Osprey Verve 4 hydration backpack! Overall, we raised nearly $200 over the course of the weekend for the organization.
Fun was had by all and we hope to see you again with Osprey packs at the next Outdoor Adventure Expo!
